Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Plain-English Summary
The short version. Full policy follows below.
- We collect what you put in the form. Name, email, optional social URL, intent, hardware choice, package choice, and any machine details you provide. That's it.
- We keep tracking minimal. We use Google Analytics to see aggregate traffic (like page views and rough location) — never to identify you personally. No advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.
- We never see what Agentum does. The software runs on your computer. We don't host it, log it, or telemeter it.
- We don't sell or share your data. Your information is used only to evaluate your application and contact you about your install.
- You can delete it any time. Email us and we'll remove your record.
Full Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how The Agentum ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit this website or apply for Agentum. By using this site or submitting an application, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Application data. When you submit the application form, we collect: name, email address, optional LinkedIn or Twitter URL, your stated intent for using Agentum, optional free-text "Other" detail, hardware choice, package choice, and any machine details you provide.
1.2 Communication data. If you email us, we retain your messages and our replies for the duration of our relationship and as required by law.
1.3 Analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate, de-identified website traffic — such as page views, approximate location, and device type — to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not use this data to identify you individually, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser; Google's privacy policy governs that data. We do not use browser fingerprinting or advertising trackers.
1.4 No telemetry from the Software. Agentum runs entirely on your computer. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any data about your use of the Software, the data it processes, or its outputs.
2. How We Use Information
2.1 To evaluate your application and decide whether to offer you an install.
2.2 To contact you about your application, install, support window, referral credits, and product updates you have consented to receive.
2.3 To send periodic newsletters or product updates while you are on the waitlist or during your active support period. You may unsubscribe at any time.
2.4 For aggregate, de-identified analysis of who is applying, to improve our screening process.
3. Legal Basis (where applicable)
3.1 We process your information based on (a) your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), (b) our legitimate interest in operating and improving our application process, and (c) compliance with applicable law.
4. Sharing & Third Parties
4.1 We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4.2 We use Google Apps Script and Google Sheets to receive and store form submissions. Google's terms and privacy policy govern that data while it is in transit and at rest in their systems.
4.3 If you become a customer, we may use a payment processor (such as Stripe) to handle your payment. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
4.4 We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
5. Data Retention
5.1 We retain application information for as long as needed to evaluate, contact, and (if applicable) onboard you.
5.2 Customer records (purchase, support tickets, install history) are retained for up to seven (7) years for tax and legal compliance.
5.3 You may request deletion of your data at any time. We will delete it within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
6.1 Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, and request portability of your data.
6.2 To exercise any of these rights, email us using the address on our communications. We will respond within 30 days.
6.3 You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
7.1 We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
8.1 We are based in the United States. If you are submitting information from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Children
9.1 This site and the Software are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
10.1 We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
11. Contact
11.1 Questions, requests, or complaints about this Policy: email us at the address provided in our communications with you.
By using this site or submitting an application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
